The machine uses natural refrigerant R290, which reduces environmental impact whilst maintaining reliable performance and production efficiency. The exterior is constructed from stainless steel, and a closed water circuit prevents contamination throughout the ice-making process. All Hoshizaki machines are designed for straightforward operation, cleaning and maintenance. The unit employs a precise water injection system that directs a dedicated jet of fresh water into each closed cell. Excess water drains through dedicated outlets, whilst the cell walls contain the freezing water’s expansion on all sides.
