70kg a day with a 40kg bin. This is the first DC where the bin is big enough to run the machine overnight and serve from it all day.
735mm wide, 603mm deep and 1017mm high. That height takes it out of the undercounter category: it is a floor-standing machine, and you need to be able to stand in front of it with the lid up.
40kg of storage changes how the machine is used. Instead of reacting to demand during service, it fills overnight on cheap electricity and tops up through the day. Fewer compressor starts, less noise, and a bin that is still full at closing.
Ice is sprayed into moulds at sub-zero and built layer by layer, which is what gives it the density to melt slowly rather than flood the glass.
Warranty is 3 years parts only, so labour on a call-out is extra.
Where it stops: 70kg is a serious restaurant or a busy bar. If you are also supplying a function room, the DC100-60A adds 30kg of output and 20kg of bin for £205 more.
