45kg a day, 25kg in the bin. At this point the bin, not the output, is what sells the machine.
25kg of storage is roughly a full night of cocktail service without the machine having to catch up. That is the spec that matters if you have ever had to send someone to the shop for a bag of ice at 9pm.
497mm wide and 592mm deep, so it uses the same footprint as the 35kg model and only grows upwards: 907mm high against 797mm. If you are replacing a machine under a fixed shelf, measure that 110mm before you order.
The ice is built layer by layer in a spray chamber at sub-zero, which gives a dense cube that melts slowly instead of collapsing in the glass. Stainless exterior, insulated bin with an antibacterial plastic liner.
Warranty is 3 years parts only, so labour is extra on any call-out.
Where it stops: past 45kg you are into double-bin territory or a modular head. The DC55-25A adds another 10kg for £125 more.
