34kg of cubed ice a day in a machine 398mm wide. The smallest Hoshizaki that still counts as commercial.
398mm wide, 451mm deep and 695mm high, so it goes under a counter with room to spare. That footprint is why it turns up in small bars, coffee shops and staff kitchens where the alternative is a domestic freezer tray.
11.5kg of bin is the honest limitation: this is a drinks machine. It covers service, not a function, and if you are filling ice wells you will be waiting for it.
What you get over a cheaper 30kg machine is Hoshizaki’s water handling: automated cleaning, a water circuit that flags descaling, and condenser alerts. In a hard water area that is the difference between five years and fifteen.
R290 refrigerant, 3 years parts and labour.
Where it stops: 34kg and 11.5kg of bin is a small site. The IM-45CPE gives 47kg and a 15kg bin for £522 more, in a wider cabinet.
