39kg a day with a 15kg bin, in a 500mm cabinet. The middle of Foster’s integral range, and the one that fits a normal undercounter gap.
500mm wide, 540mm deep, 690mm high. That is a standard unit width, so it drops into a run of counters without a gap being built for it.
15kg of bin covers a lunch and a dinner service in a restaurant of moderate size. The machine refills between services rather than during them, which is how it should be used.
Foster’s argument is not price. At £2,421 for 39kg you are paying roughly double what a DC of similar output costs. What you get in return is a British-built machine, spares held in the UK and engineers who know the platform, which is worth real money on a site where a day without ice is a day without service.
2 years parts and labour.
Where it stops: the FS50/27-119 adds 7kg of output and 7kg of bin in a slightly taller cabinet, for £658 more.
